Our name SVE Portable Roadway Systems, Inc. closely reflects the true nature of our business. For over 20 years, SVE has manufactured and marketed mat systems to protect landscape from vehicle traffic and to support vehicles and equipment over difficult terrain.

Headquartered in Charlotte, NC, we deliver product through a network of distributors, rental houses, and through Sales Reps in the US, Canada, and overseas markets.

We offer four distinctive mat systems, each suitable to a wide range of applications. No other supplier offers the breadth of product to provide you with just the RIGHT Solution to your access problem.

The mat systems are divided into two major categories, Small Mat and Large Mat applications. The Small Mats are TRAKMAT^®; and MUD-TRAKS^®, defined by their basic size, approximately 4' X 8', and light weight, less than 100 lbs. They fit in the back of a pickup truck and can be handled by men in the field. Large Mats are emtek^®  Mats and TreadMats^TM  defined by their size, and are set in place with machinery and used for large work areas, severe ground conditions, or where steel track equipment is required.
